Transform

Pronunciation: /trænsˈfɔrm/ Explain

To transform is to change from one form to another, usually by a rule. An example of a transformation is the distributive property of multiplication over addition and subtraction. The rule for the distributive property is a ( b + c ) = ab + ac.
